Shailene WOODLEY is an American actress, activist, and writer. Her popularity was boosted by her performance as Alexandra "Alex" King, a teenager who is suffering from addiction to drugs, on The Descendants. She continued to impress after her acclaimed performance in The Descendants. Shailene gained a prominent spot at the beginning of her film career. This is in itself a remarkable achievement. Beginning her career with appearances in television shows and commercials She went on to play prominent roles in Hollywood movies. Due to her talent as an actor, she has won many awards, including MTV Movie Awards, People's Choice Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.
